Sonic Drive-Thru Restaurant

We are proud to have manufactured Hawaii’s first Sonic restaurant on Maui, constructed entirely from recycled shipping container modular units. Our scope included the modular shells, structural steel awnings and solar arrays, as well as rough framing and MEPs. The project involved shipping 20 truckloads across the Pacific Ocean, followed by assembly of the modular units and structural steel in under a week, preparing the building for exterior finishes. Additionally, Freeform acted as the Owner’s Representative, ensuring the project was completed on schedule and within budget.
